- Greets and communicates well with customers in person or via phone to ensure accuracy of order and customer satisfaction
- Knowledgeable of menu to answer any questions that our guests may have regarding our food items
- Demonstrates suggestive selling
- Packages food correctly for orders
- Communicates strongly with the rest of team to ensure accuracy
- Use register to track all transactions
- Complies with Southside Market's Cashier Accountability Policy
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of cashier area and cash drawer
- Completes other duties as needed
QualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceFood Handler Certificate required prior to day 1.Previous cash handling experience preferred.Previous restaurant experiance preferred.Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.Practical problem solving skills.While performing the duties of this job, he/she is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. He/she is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
