The driver I Operates Woods Services vehicles that do not require CDL for the purpose of transporting both clients and staff to their appointed destinations. Care for the Woods Services vehicles which they operate through regular inspection, minor maintenance and proper housekeeping. Receives and performs daily transports by receiving verbal and written instructions from approved staff. Operates transportation vans and wheelchair vehicles that do not require a CDL license. Assists staff in securing wheelchairs in vehicles when necessary. Ensures all vehicle occupants are seated and appropriately fastened in properly before moving vehicle. Makes routine inspection of the vehicles including daily walk-around and weekly inspection and reports needed repairs to the supervisor.
