- Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
- Drive designated routes to pick up and deliver all school related materials
- Load and unload truck; unload items at the appropriate destination and place the items in the area specified
- Check condition of the delivery vehicle before starting daily runs and make minor adjustments as needed
- Verify accuracy of transmittal papers against materials received and/or delivered, get customer signatures
- Operate a forklift, electric power lift, hand drills, hand truck and other equipment applicable to loading and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies
- Unpack and assemble desks, chairs, partitions, and other office equipment or machines; may check for proper operation
- Assist in storing stock in proper location and in maintaining warehouse in a clean and orderly condition
- Determine most efficient procedure for loading and moving heavy equipment and furniture in a safe manner
- Serve as lead worker on periodic basis to oversee delivery project or activity and work independent of supervision
- Perform related work as assigned or required

- 1 year of related experience
- 1 year warehouse experience preferred

Special Requirements
- Valid CDL license, with a clean record is required
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license or ability to provide own transportation
- Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings
