DRIVER DISPATCHER - LOGISTICS COORDINATOR CRITERIA

We're looking for someone who can coordinate multiple priorities at once while keeping calm during stressful situations. You need to be a problem solver who can work alone or with a team. If that's you, and you meet the following requirements, we want you!

• 3+ years of dispatching experience
• Knowledge about logistics and the scrap metal recycling industry
• Clear understanding of all company policy, FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
• Basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office 365, and an ability to learn in-house systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time and move a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

DAY TO DAY

As a Driver Dispatcher - Logistics Coordinator, you dispatch dedicated drivers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. You use our online program to communicate with drivers and direct them appropriately. Attentively, you process paperwork, assist scale clerks, and coordinate with office personnel to maintain accurate and timely documentation.

You conduct scale operations and evaluate incoming products, identifying their contents and directing customers to appropriate unloading areas. Motivated to grow, you attend internal meetings and complete required training.
