JOB TITLE: Driver/ MonitorCLASSIFICATION: Part Time, Non-ExemptPROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Transportation DepartmentIMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Manager of Fleet and TransportationPOSITION SUMMARY:Responsible to safely transport or monitor people we serve (PWS) to various programs in a timely manner. Completion of all vehicle logs as required by procedure. Communicate with passengers and family members in a professional courteous manner. Completed safety checks and corresponding paperwork, communicates vehicle safety and related needs. Monitors and assists PWS with entering and exiting, secures wheelchairs and other assistive devises inside the vehicle. Monitors PWS to ensure safe environment during transportation. Gas vehicles as necessary. Complete all required paperwork. Communicate vehicle concerns in order to quickly and safely get resolved.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience:Valid NYS driver's license. Three (3) years driving experience.Preferred Education, Training & Experience:Not applicable.
