The ITS Driver Recruiter and Industrial Relations Representative is responsible for the administration and performance of the Industrial Relations program in the following areas: Driver Recruiting, Policies and Procedures, Safety, Personnel Requirements, Staffing and Training. Extensive travel will be required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and interviewing for potential new employeesPre-employment drug testing, physicals, and backgroundNew employee orientationWorks with IR Department to ensure compliance with DOT, labor laws/EEOC/company policy.Unemployment claimsConducts and/or assist in employee training.Enforce company policies and procedures.Communicate company benefits and assist employees with questions.Conduct employee meetings on a one-on-one basis periodically.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed; they are only the major duties.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have good written and verbal communications skills.Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordMust have a thorough knowledge of WSI/ITS policies and procedures.Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.Must be able to lift 55 lbs.Must be prepared to travel extensively.BENEFITS:
