You will exercise these technical competencies as you engage with clients building automation integration, answering technical questions, troubleshooting, and more.

  • Understand DriveWorks products and provide recommendations for best solutions
  • Work with Customer Service, Business Development and Project Management teams to support pre and post sales
  • Analyze customer needs, prepare specifications, design modifications, make recommendations for efficient use of DriveWorks
  • Coordinate and execute installation of software and technical service
  • Provide technical support in person and via phone
  • Provide technical training and consulting
  • Work with Technical Services team to determine project assignments, report project status, and collaborate on problem solving
  • Troubleshoot using SQL

  • 2 or 4 year degree in Automation & Maintenance, Process Engineering Technology, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Information Systems or similar field of study
  • 2+ years experience using 3D CAD software (SOLIDWORKS preferred)
  • 2+ years experience with design automation
  • 2+ years professional PDM experience
  • Prior technical support experience in software related field
  • Understand engineering processes and terms
  • Mechanical design experience desired
  • Customer focused approach and strong presentation skills
  • Understanding of computer networking and hardware
  • Ability to travel locally and in the region on occasion (WI, IL, and upper MI)
