Joon Loloi is looking for a talented and experienced Dropship Program Manager. This key role will be focused on and report to the Director of Inventory Planning. This role will be pivotal in our end-to-end drop ship vendor operations. Our ideal candidate will lead the program's success through project management, continual analysis, supplier management, and cross-functional operations. Our dropship leader is technical, operational and analytical, while being solution driven.
As the Drop Ship Program Manager, you will manage and optimize our drop shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Because the role is highly cross-functional with internal departments and third parties, this role also includes vendor onboarding and product uploads. You will collaborate with vendors, monitor inventory levels, and ensure seamless integration between our e-commerce platform and drop-shipping partners.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end drop shipping process, from order placement to fulfillment and delivery.
- Manage vendor onboarding, including the setup of new suppliers and integration into all associated tools and systems.
- Owning the vendor manual, including all associated updates and development.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure inventory accuracy and timely shipment of all orders, while providing partnership solutions that drive success.
- Monitor and manage drop ship performance metrics, including order accuracy, delivery times, and customer satisfaction in accordance with the vendor scorecard.
- Optimize drop shipping operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience through multi-organizational collaboration.
- Being the key point of contact and project lead internally for all dropship vendor related initiatives and issues.
- Resolve any issues related to drop shipping, including product returns, inventory discrepancies, and shipment delays with the highest degree of urgency.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and support the efforts of the merchandising team in negotiating successful partnership terms.
- Work closely with the digital commerce and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of drop shipping processes.
Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is crucial for automating and streamlining transactions and communications between the company and vendors, enabling efficient and accurate data exchanges.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential for managing large data sets, performing in-depth data analysis, and maintaining organized records.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or similar platforms to effectively present data insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers, with a deep understanding of contractual terms, obligations, and compliance to drive favorable outcomes.
- Third party ecommerce and/or retail sales experience.
- Proven experience in managing, problem solving, and solving problems with vendor and/or retail partners.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Experience with vendor onboarding and supplier management.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, supply chain processes, and inventory management processes.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize drop shipping performance.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, E-Commerce platforms, and project management tools.
- The ability to mobilize multiple departments within high and low severity situations · Understanding of how to analyze carrier transportation metrics.
