LEMOINE, a Great Place to Work-Certified company, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator for our Drywall Sector. Candidate must be capable of quantity takeoff, pricing, and final estimate preparation for metal stud framing, drywall, and ceiling system projects ranging from small buildouts to work packages up to $5 million. The Assistant Project Manager/Estimator assists and supports the Drywall staff on preconstruction projects with technical day-to-day estimating responsibilities and follows through to operations, all in an effort to minimize risk and to keep the focus on LEMOINE'S Foundations for Successful Execution.
Job Responsibilities:
* Reviews all plans and specifications including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
* Supports the Project Management staff in the construction of one or more projects with minimum annual revenues of $5 million.
* Reviews specifications for the understanding of the required scope and create RFIs as needed.
* Responsible for contract administration, procurement, subcontract awards, scheduling and costing, oversight of project quality and safety, staff oversight
* Performs quantity take-off on appropriate scope packages (CFMF Framing, Interior Framing, Insulation, drywall, Hard Ceilings, ACT, Specialty Systems, etc).
* Understands and estimates Cold-Formed Metal Framing System with the Support of a Delegated Designer.
* Reviews and fills out Subtab sheets to understand and clarify the scope.
* Maintains positive Trade Partner relationships.
* Provides estimate detail for bid management and Sector Leader review before bid turn-in.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years related commercial construction project work experience, with 3+ years focused in Drywall project management and estimating.
* Strong working knowledge of interior finish systems and estimating processes.
* Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, project management, estimating, and scheduling software programs (QB and OST a plus).
* Proven skills in the areas of math, budgeting, and commitments, as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
