Scott Humphrey has partnered with a reputable Subcontractor in the Rural Hall area to find their next Drywall Assistant Project Manager as the organization continues to grow. This individual will be responsible for supporting the project manager in overseeing drywall-related construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards. The Drywall Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all project requirements are met. Additionally, this role will involve preparing progress reports, assisting in project scheduling, and helping manage budgets and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in overseeing and managing drywall installation and finishing activities from project inception to completion.
• Work alongside the project manager to ensure that work is executed according to contract specifications and on schedule.
• Monitor daily project operations, ensuring that safety standards, quality, and customer satisfaction are maintained.
• Coordinate materials, labor, and equipment for drywall projects to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Support in managing project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and financial goals are met.
• Review and track the progress of drywall-related tasks, preparing daily or weekly reports to ensure all milestones are met.
• Facilitate communication between subcontractors, vendors, and the project management team to maintain smooth operations.
• Assist in resolving issues related to scheduling, material shortages, or unforeseen construction challenges.
• Ensure the project is progressing according to the project timeline and assist in mitigating delays or risks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on drywall installation or construction project management.
• Strong understanding of drywall installation processes, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential project risks and develop solutions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to enforcing safety standards on-site.
