Skillforce is looking for Drywall Finisher/Tapers for a jobsite in Annapolis Junction, MD
Drywall Finisher/Taper Duties and Responsibilities:- Measuring, cutting, and fitting: Drywall sheets are measured, cut, and fitted for installation on ceilings and walls.
- Positioning and securing: Drywall sheets are positioned and secured to wooden or metal studs.
- Filling: Joints, holes, and cracks are filled with compound using a trowel and broad knife.
- Smoothing: Excess compound is smoothed out and dry compound is sanded.
- Taping: Paper or fiberglass mesh tape is applied to cover drywall seams. The tape is then smoothed and finished with a compound.
- Repairing: Damaged drywall is fixed, and ceiling tiles are replaced.
Drywall Finisher/Taper Qualifications- Previous experience with drywall finishing and taping
- This project requires badging. Must have Real ID and Birth Certificate or Passport
