ABOUT THE ROLEWe currently have an opening for a Production Home Assembler / Drywall Technician at our Colony Plant. This is an entry level, full time position.Positions include all aspects of the construction and assembly of manufactured housing to include (Framers, Plumbers, Flooring, Drywall Installers/Tapers and various other assembly positions).ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job dutiesMaintains work area is kept clean and organizedFollows work orders and instructions on correct assembly of building componentsMaintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns and assembly of building componentsPreparation and assembly of various building components and materials used in the construction of a manufactured homeMeeting weekly production goals individually and in a department setting per assigned DepartmentMay be cross-trained into other departments to ensure job knowledge progression and a balanced work forcePerforms various other job duties as assigned and neededMaintain a good attendance recordDemonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervisionMINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS Construction or Warehouse Experience a plus but not requiredFlexible to work in a fast paced, changing environmentNot afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment on a daily basisAbility to be trained and take directionAbility to work in a team with othersMust be 18 years of ageMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screenThe scheduled work week is Monday thru Friday, occasional Overtime and Saturday work may be requiredMust have a reliable way to get to and from work
