$19.20 - $20.70 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to ensure the accuracy and timely distribution of product deliveries made to the store by outside vendors which includes Harmons Distribution, DSD and warehouse vendors. This person will scan in product from outside vendors, ensure accuracy of invoices, assist with special orders and new item requests, conduct quarterly inventory and provide exceptional customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established departmental and store policies and proceduresEnsures the quality and freshness of all products delivered to the store by third party vendorsResponsible for scanning in all product delivered to the storeDistributes product to the correct department as quickly and efficiently as possibleResponsible for ensuring the accuracy of invoices associated with deliveries and that correct costs have been appliedSorts and distributes invoices to department managersReceives and distributes parcels delivered to the store by Fed Ex, UPS, Ontrac, etc.Communicates with vendors regarding special orders, displays and ad itemsResponds to new item requests from customerConducts quarterly inventoryMonitors tonnage for compactors to ensure safety for customers while travelingEnsures credits are being stored and credited by vendors in a timely mannerEnsures that all Harmons associates are following safety guidelines as outlined by multiple policiesOrganize Food Bank, reclaims and go back itemsResponsible for keeping a clean and well organized back roomDelivers excellent customer service to all customersCompletes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely mannerCommunicates openly and frequently with department managers and the Store DirectorSets a professional and positive example to othersAssists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with grocery and dairy stocking and answers incoming phone calls to the store, as needed.
