Full-Time and Part-Time Available
As a DSP, you will lead by example, bring a positive attitude, provide thoughtful and caring support to adults with intellectual disabilities and developmental needs. You will focus on providing vocational, recreational, leisure and social skills, support and instruction with a focus on community integration.

Responsibilities:
DSP responsibilties include:
- Supervising members' work production which includes the operation of machinery.
- Ensuring members' work quality.
- Actively assisting in enriching members' lives by encouraging recreation, leisure activities, and community inclusion.
- Assisting members with activities of daily living and personal care as needed (e.g.: arrival and departure, eating, ambulation, transferring, restroom assistance, etc.) and provide emotional support and encouragement.
- Participating in planning, facilitation and documentation of individual behavior support plans.
- May be required to intervene in crisis situations and unexpected behaviors in accordance with approved strategies and techniques.
Qualifications:
DSP qualifications include:
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Valid drivers license.
- At least 18 years of age.
- This is a physical job, you will need to be able to:
- Push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to navigate technology and to enter data/documentation.
- Ability to pass required physical exams including the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical preferred.
- Successful results of a background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing and any other state-specific requirements.
