Job Description:

Customer is looking for junior Duck Creek Developers for their Work Comp team working on production stabilization with a long term view of having them help move Commercial Policy or Personal Lines to Duck Creek Policy.

This is not the ON DEMAND Version of Duck Creek.

Candidates should have Commercial Lines Policy Admin experience with Duck Creek since they need someone already familiar with the platform to make a strong impact from day one.

This is your modern tech profile and are open to junior talent that can be tried. We need to make sure the consultant is good with doing purely configuration type of work and XML work.

What is duck creek code:

A three-tiered stack. Duck Creek solutions are developed on the .NET Framework, composed in C#, and run on a Windows Server environment. JavaScript and AJAX provide rich customer features. Page styles are driven by the Duck Creek Design System, a productized set of CSS with support for personalized themes, custom styles, and branding.

Job Description:

Our Java Software Developers:

- Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and pre-existing software programs and applications

- Actively participate in code/design reviews and brainstorming sessions

- Develop program and system documentation

- Analyze and fix software errors in a timely and accurate fashion

- Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and suggest alternatives

Desired Skills and Experience

- A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Knowledge of Java, SQL, DB2, JSP, AJAX, Web Services, Spring, and/or JUnit is strongly preferred

- Experience with OpenShift, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is a plus

- Enthusiasm for driving improvement by finding and implementing solutions to new challenges

- Must be able to learn and effectively use tools and software development techniques as practiced, acquired, or adopted within the IT Division

Skills

Python, Java, policy development, Api, Azure

+ Requires a BS Degree in a STEM major with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
