Here is a little more information about the position.In order to work at Il Forno/Sazón you will need to pass the Duke University background check).Job Skills/Requirements:Brenen's Restaurant Group is here to help you succeed, but before you join our team there are a few basic requirements for the Prep Cook position.Responsibilities: Customer satisfaction is very important to Brenen's Restaurant Group and this starts with the Prep Cook. The Prep Cook's main responsibility is to prepare, store, and supply all of our high-quality ingredients so that the line-cooks can produce great food fast. And, as part of the Brenen's Restaurant Group team, we expect all of our employees to be willing to jump in and help wherever is needed to produce our award-winning food.Physical Requirements: Being a cook is intense work. As a Prep Cook for Brenen's Restaurant Group, you will need to be able to quickly and accurately cut, chop, prepare, and properly store large amounts of food that meet our exacting standards. Prep Cooks also need to be able to stand for their entire shift and work in hot or cold conditions while preparing the food.Experience/Education: Previous kitchen experience is definitely preferred for this position. We need our Prep Cooks to work fast and follow directions and recipes accurately. Also knowing how to use and operate our kitchen's tools and equipment safely is required.Other: All Prep Cooks must be at least 18 years old.
