Position Type: Support Staff/Duty AideDate Posted: 7/10/2024Location: West Pottsgrove ElementaryClosing Date: 08/20/2024A Vacancy currently exist for a part-time Duty Aide to cover lunch and recess periods at West Pottsgrove Elementary School. These are rewarding positions in a supportive team environment where your work makes a difference in the lives of young students. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Escort students from the cafeteria to the playground for recess; supervise students while on the playground, ensuring their safety.
- Distribute lunch tickets to proper students; escort students to the cafeteria and supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch period.
- Escort students from the cafeteria to their encore classes and from classes to the playground.
- Monitor students as assigned.
- Work closely with the Assistant Principal/Principal and teachers.
- Maintain communication with guidance counselors when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Principal/Principal.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma necessary
- Experience working with children preferred
- Must have current Act 34, 151 & 114 Clearances
Pay: $14.78/hour Hours: 11:15 AM - 3:15 PM - 4 hours per day Location: West Pottsgrove Elementary School
