Functional ERP Specialist / ERP Solution Architect
Permanent hire ($150,000/yr)
Location: Onsite - 5 days a week in the Chicago southern suburbs (easy access to I294 and I94)
or 3-4 days per week in Chicago and 1-2 days per week in Thornton, IL.

A Chicago-based Manufacturing company is looking for a results-oriented IT ERP (D365) specialist to successfully work with our new ERP software. You will be collaborating with senior managers to determine which business processes need optimization, enhancing the performance of our business operations, deploying, and implementing suitable ERP solutions.
The main modules being used are F&O (Finance & Operations) and SCM (Supply Chain). Not interested in someone that is strong in CRM, Sales Hub or Business Central (the small business version of D365). They need to be able to configure the application. The implementation is predominantly Out of the Box and with very little customization - so developers are not needed. They need to be able to work with the business and help them change their processes to work with the software. They must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week in (Thornton, IL with occasional days in Chicago)
The D365 ERP Specialist installs, configures, and maintains enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and partners with business stakeholders and IT peers to ensure an optimized and secure system for our client's use. This role determines ERP needs, designs and delivers ERP functionality, and integrates ERP technologies with existing systems.
To ensure success as an ERP specialist, this role should exhibit extensive knowledge of ERP systems and business acumen, as well as the ability to resolve integration issues. An outstanding ERP specialist will be someone whose expertise translates into streamlined business processes and highly efficient systems management.
