Annual Security Report Notice

Pace is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the students, faculty, staff and visitors to the University. The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University.

Under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Communications, and other members of the Dyson College Dean's Office of Communications (DOC), assist with creating digital and written content for Dyson College's social media, website and various communications efforts, including:

* Create digital content for Dyson College social media platforms and website

* Posting/curating live Instagram stories

* Serving as the Pleasantville campus beat reporter to gather real-time news and announcements across Dyson College programs and create stories around the news

* Using video, still photography and written testimonials/articles, provide an inside view of student life on the Pleasantville campus

* Video recording of students' activities, internships, interviews/testimonials

* Writing/drafting articles, such as student profiles, student/faculty research, faculty profiles, feature stories

* Other duties as assigned

This position entails close interaction with the Assistant Dean for Communications and the Dyson Dean's Office of Communications team members, which requires a strong working relationship and promulgation of teamwork.

This position entails direct interaction with academic departmental chairpersons and faculty for acquiring content. The ability to build strong relationships with this cohort is essential.

This position is for the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters for undergraduate students only.

* Work Study Eligible Only

* On track toward a bachelor degree, preferably in communications or journalism

* Experience with creating videos

* Experience with social media content creation and monitoring,

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

* Excellent organizational skills

* Adobe Creative Suite skills a plus

* Writing for the web a plus

Other key abilities required include:

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and shift priorities quickly.

* Ability to be self-motivated and work independently as well as on a team.
