Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the daily operation of the department while working closely with the department manager.There may be travel to the various stores throughout WNY to assist in developing knowledge of donated items to be returned to the E-Commerce department for processing.This position is expected to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and procedures.THE POSITION This position's key responsibilities include:
  • Actively participate in front line functions of department to include but not limited to creating initial product inventory, supply ordering, removal of stale inventory, preparing orders for pick-up and/or shipping, responding to customer service Inquiries, and ongoing work cell initiatives.
  • Implements full e-Commerce and Omni-channel program roadmap, working to identify opportunities to optimize each selling channel.
  • Develops and maintains reporting on key performance indicators (KPI's) with a focus on data analytics to find solutions to common performance issues.
  • Builds and maintains good relationships with business unit leaders within the overall organization.
  • Maintains daily work cell activities to include book processing for listing, store inventory and salvage categorization.
  • Works as a traveling liaison between the SGW department and the retail stores, ensuring items are properly identified and sent to E-Commerce at the store level. While in store, performs audits for accuracy based on management expectations.Presents findings to Manager.
  • Assists with all departmental functions, as needed to include but not limited to: shipping, processing books, inbound phone calls, photographing product, listing product, storing product, and testing product.
  • Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly manner with clean-up activities performed throughout the day.
  • Maintains established productivity goals without loss of quality of work.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of the resellers market for understanding of overall department function.
  • Experience in using industry tools (analytics) that focus on customer experience, marketing and production.
  • Knowledge of e-Commerce platforms.
  • Ability to oversee a diverse team with various roles while providing training as needed.
  • Knowledge of windows-based software environment and various software to include Microsoft package.
  • Ability to maintain a positive work outlook and to project a pleasant, courteous, and helpful demeanor at all times when dealing with customers, donors, co-workers, community service workers, and clients/consumers or other program participants.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and timely manner. Demonstrates effective listening skills.
  • Demonstrates adaptability by adjusting to changing business priorities.
  • A passion for serving others.
Education & Experience:
  • Associates degree strongly preferred. High School Diploma is required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in E-Commerce
  • At least three (3) years of experience supervising a team. E-Commerce Supervision experience preferred.
  • Requires reading, writing, and math skills, which include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Physical Requirements:

  • Considerable: balancing and stooping.
  • Nominal: crawling, crouching, and kneeling.

COMPENSATION:Goodwill regularly evaluates our compensation and benefits packages to ensure we maintain competitive. Starting pay will be based on a candidate's experience, skills and education.
  • The pay range for this position is $20 - $25/hr.
