Role Overview The E&I Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical and instrumentation installations on-site. Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing inspections on materials, equipment, and construction installation activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Inspecting electrical installations, including switchgear, motor control centers, and electrical drives, with a focus on quality and compliance.
  • Verifying compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Overseeing the proper installation of instrumentation systems such as tubing, control instruments, and control valves.
  • Ensuring classified hazard area installations meet all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and schematics.
  • Promoting and adhering to safety standards on-site and being an advocate for safe working practices.
  • Managing multiple tasks effectively while working under pressure.
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in E&I inspections.
  • LNG experience preferred.
  • Certifications in relevant areas such as NFPA 70 NEC code and NFPA 70E standards advantageous.
  • Experience with classified hazard areas installation is a plus.
