**Job Title: PCS Technician**

**Job Description**

Under the direction of the PCS Team Coach, the PCS Technician will perform repairs, installations, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of electronic and pneumatic instruments, and facility systems. The technician will examine and troubleshoot equipment to diagnose the source of problems, offer solutions, perform repairs, replace broken or defective parts, and make necessary adjustments for operation. Participation in safety meetings, reviews, investigations, and HAZOPS is required on an as-needed basis. The technician must work overtime, shift work, and provide off-shift coverage as needed. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the facility and equipment are maintained in proper and safe operating condition to fulfill production requirements. This involves following all work instructions, equipment procedures, quality standards, general maintenance standards, and safety rules and regulations. PCS Technicians will safely maintain the equipment, machinery, and infrastructure required to satisfy customer requirements.

**Hard Skills**

+ Instrumentation experience

+ Electrical - Allen Bradley PLCs, PLC 5 RS Logix, Rockwell automation

+ 24V DC calibration

+ Calibrating instruments

+ Performing PMs and troubleshooting

+ Common repairs: Transmitters - testing for level, temperature, and flow

**Work Environment**

Industrial Chemical Manufacturing environment - non-climate controlled, older equipment. Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday, on-call rotation based on team size (currently every 5 weeks on call from 3pm-6:30am for a week). Dress Code: Long sleeves, long pants, steel toes, safety glasses.
