Our challenge We are looking for an experienced Eagle - Network Support Engineer to work with our team who can provide technical support for our network infrastructure, with a primary focus on supporting Eagle Investment Systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of networking fundamentals, network security, troubleshooting and support, server and storage management, scripting, and cloud virtualization. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $115k - $120k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support for Eagle Investment Systems and associated network infrastructure.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Implement and manage network security measures to safeguard the organization's data and systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address server and storage management requirements.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation of network tasks and processes.
  • Assist in planning and implementing cloud virtualization solutions.
Requirements: You are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in supporting Eagle Investment Systems or similar financial systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking fundamentals, network security, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Experience in server and storage management within an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with cloud virtualization platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
It would be great if you also had:
  • Previous experience with Eagle Investment Systems or other financial industry-specific applications.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices for IT service management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
