Job Summary:

As Vice President, you'll be required to lead all Early Career Programs for the Global Corporate and Investment Bank and Global Markets as well as on mid-career programs and ongoing departmental trainings across multiple lines of business. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of activities from participating in the design and execution of our learning and development programs from intern through vice president. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, hiring managers and leaders within the early talent space as well as multiple lines of Human Resources to plan and manage the effective delivery of key program milestones. Long term, this role will look to take on more responsibility and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of early and mid-careers development activities including the MUFG Summer Analyst program, MUFG Analyst program, the regional model of the GCIB Academy program

* Lead the planning and execution of GCIB University, a once-a-month training held for all GCIB colleagues

* Closely monitor progress of project plan pertaining to all programs, track activities, and adjust when needed

* Oversee creation and approve materials for programs to be disseminated to executives and colleagues of all levels

* Partner with global and regional HR including the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless transition of candidate from hiring to onboarding to the start of our Summer Analyst program and MUFG Analyst program as well as seamless execution of the selection and assessment processes towards the end of the Summer Analyst program

* Work with respective teams such as IT, Corporate Real Estate and Security to ensure planning and onboarding activities are progressing

* Collaborate with Global and Regional HR colleagues, HR Business Partners, Legal, Vendor Management and Business Line representatives to deploy programs and processes

* Lead planning and facilitation of all onsite and offsite events and trainings - negotiating contracts, securing venues, food and beverage selection, finalizing invitee lists and ensuring business leaders are well informed about events

* Focus on continuous improvement of the program including seeking out and analyzing participant and stakeholder feedback

* Gain budget approval for each program and manage budgets and billing processes

* Build and maintain relationships with key internal clients

* Ability to partner with program managers from other countries to globally align programs

* Oversee a supporting team of junior employees including delegation of tasks and support career development

* Oversee all program logistics including pre-work, materials, assessments, vendor management, facilitation as needed, etc.

* Liaise with external vendors and instructors to coordinate meetings, training, and contract negotiation

Requirements:

* Holds a bachelor's degree in related field

* 5 plus years of demonstrated experience in learning and development and/or program management, preferably in a financial institution

* Demonstrates strong leadership abilities

* A high level of interest in Human Resources and learning/development program design and management

* Has a passion for early careers and the development of junior talent and a good understanding of the early careers landscape

* Strong stakeholder management. Capable of developing partnerships with colleagues and program participants that have high potential for success

* Ability to be adaptable and collaborative and to work both independently or as part of a team and with employees at all levels of the organization

* Excellent time management and organizational skills - can maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and ability to stay on top of multiple projects and priorities at once

* Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

* Creative problem solver and a go-getter, and a results-oriented individual with a consistent track record of contributing towards positive organizational change

* Experience managing a team

* Flexibility and eagerness to take on new projects

The typical base pay range for this role is between $116K - $153K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
