They will bring enthusiasm and a deep understanding of child development to this role. Ideal candidates will also:
  • Love Working with Children: A genuine love for nurturing and guiding young minds is essential.
  • Possess Credentials: A CDA (Child Development Associate) or an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution is required for Lead Teachers.
  • Understand Child Development: Candidates should have a clear understanding of developmental milestones and the needs of young children.
  • Be Committed to Growth: Eagerness to continue learning and developing within the early childhood education field is a must.
  • Be Open to Guidance: Willingness to be coached, mentored, and work closely with a team of educators.
  • Demonstrate Patience and Positivity: A calm, patient demeanor to engage with young children in a responsible and mature manner.
  • Physical Ability: The role requires the physical stamina to lift and hold children for extended periods, sit on the floor, and engage in active play.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
  • Assist in other areas as needed
  • Maintain a professional and polished appearance as a representative of our Childcare Center.
