EBP Audit ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced EBP Audit Manager to lead our Employee Benefit Plan audits. The successful candidate will oversee the audit process, ensuring compliance with ERISA regulations and providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires strong technical expertise in employee benefits and public accounting, coupled with excellent leadership skills.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Employee Benefit Plan audits from planning to completion
- Ensure compliance with ERISA regulations and applicable auditing standards
- Review and evaluate audit workpapers and final reports
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation required
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on EBP audits
- Strong knowledge of ERISA regulations and employee benefits
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience in mentoring and developing staff
