Contributes to the efficient operation of the Medical Imaging Department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Minimum Qualifications:Completion of a college or technical training program in Echocardiography Technology is required. Registry in Echo-Cardiac Sonography required.Previous experience as a Cardiac Sonographer preferred. After orientation, up to three months' experience in this job is required to perform essential functions and to handle emergency situations.Certification in BLS by the American Heart Association is required.Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:Performs all duties on a skills checklist related to echocardiographic diagnostic studiesDemonstrates professional behavior, prepares and performs technical non-invasive procedures or studies, provides quality patient care,Operates equipment safely, processes information in the appropriate areas, performs procedures in an organized and efficient manner, and performs other duties as assigned.About Steward Health CareOver a decade ago, Steward Health Care System emerged as a different kind of health care company designed to usher in a new era of wellness.
