We are a providing patients with access to cardiac and peripheral vascular care by the cardiologists in Casper and in outreach locations in Wyoming since 1978. Regional Heart Care Center: Servicing the State of Wyoming with outreach clinics and technology at our home location. Time: To do our job efficiently and effectively and time for our personal pursuits.. We are seeking a new Echo Vascular Technologist to join our team. Your role will be to perform Echocardiograms (adult and pediatric), Stress Echocardiograms, Dobutamine Stress Echos and assists in Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) and Intra-op Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Peripheral Vascular ultrasound, and Pediatric ultrasound (desired). As a member of the ultrasound department, you will work with echo - vascular technologists and report to our Practice Administrator. What You Will Do: Echo Vascular Technologist Knowledge of digital cardiovascular ultrasound equipment, skill in using digital equipment. Knowledge of hemodynamics and evaluation/quantification of valve abnormalities. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to pinpoint area of imaging. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in operating ultrasound equipment. Skill in taking vital signs. Skill in maintaining records and recording test results. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Skill and ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to communicate clearly. Salary range for this position is $72800 - $97760 per year (plus bonus/commission).
