Previously employedapplicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may alsobe eligible.Responsible for performing diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms, vascularstudies, and follow-up paperwork for each procedure. Displays caring,courteous behavior in dealing with patients and their families, coworkers,physicians, and guests of the hospital.The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic tests, suchas echocardiograms, vascular studies, and follow-up paperwork for eachprocedure. Displays caring, courteous behavior in dealing with patients andtheir families, coworkers, physicians, and guests of the hospital.This opening is for full-time, day shift within our Cardiac Imaging Lab. OurCardiac Sonographers at Riverside Methodist Hospital do have a required callschedule.INFORMATION SECURITYMaintains confidentiality of log-on password(s) and security of otherauthentication devices (e.g., key fobs, proximity devices, etc.).Ensures privacy and security of information entrusted to their care.Uses company business assets and information resources for management-approvedpurposes only.Adheres to all information privacy and security policies, procedures,standards, and guidelines.Promptly reports information security incidents to the OhioHealth InformationSecurity Officer.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESPerforms ultrasound imaging.Prepares required reports.Maintains files.Maintains equipment. Provides needed statistics.Handles telephone to schedule and provide information.Reviews results of echocardiogram with physicians and performs qualityassurance activities.AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESKnowledge and application of growth and development principles.Utilization of effective communication strategies.Implementation of specific technical factors.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required tostand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms;stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
