ABOUT THE POSITION The eComm Assistant Buyer supports the ecommerce buying function to drive sales in all facets of Buying, In-Season management, and the Product Set Up process. Increase efficiency and accuracy of all buying activities, especially Pricing, Site Merchandising, Inventory Management, Reporting, and Analysis. Partner with Buyer and Planner to develop seasonal product assortments and strategies. and Project Manager for strategic initiatives leading communication amongst Buyers, Merch Coordinators, and all cross-functional partnerships.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE - Site merchandising strategy and execution for desktop and mobile. Includes updates for all events and experiences, sort, filters, and style categorization.
- Responsible for providing accurate reporting tools to enable teams to analyze business and taken action. Creation of new tools. Weekly and Ad Hoc reporting.
- Supporting the seasonal buy process including attending Sales Meeting, prepping buy sheets and outlines, entering, uploading and reconciling the buys.
- Primary contact for Site Ops, Marketing and Creative projects.
- All price action is strategic, timely, tested on the site, and aligns with marketing. Align with stores when applicable.
- Adding and releasing inventory to/from GA based on style selling analysis.
- Develop best practices for weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting, creative review, and communication across the organization.
- Sort, QA, and categorization for site experiences.
- Develop seasonal style-out process to support buys.
- Develop presentations, eg. Mini-Season Go to Market meetings. Order entry process.
YOU ARE- Knowledgeable in Retail Math/Style Selling Analysis
- Familiar with ecommerce website merchandising strategies
- Able to read, write, and speak English
YOU HAVE- A Bachelor's degree in business or Merchandising or applicable certification and/or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years eCommerce and/or retail experience
