In addition to the work you will provide within your specific team, you will also attend a learning-focused guest-speaker series that will provide you with exposure to various teams throughout the company; partner with a mentor who will provide feedback and coaching to support your professional skills development; network with stakeholders; and collaborate on a capstone Generation H project.The duration of the Internship will be the full year of 2025. Please note in order to qualify for the program, you must be able to work during the full period. This internship is scheduled for January 13th - December 26th, 2025 and may be Full-Time or Part-Time to accommodate your academic schedule. All internships are in-person (non-remote) and based in the Herms US corporate headquarters located in New York City. Interns are paid an hourly rate of US $20.00. A Full-Time Internship will be scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, and Part-Time will be scheduled for more than 15 hours but less than 35 hours per week.The Opportunity:As an eCommerce Client Relations Training & Development Intern, you will support the Senior Manager and Specialist with the creation and implementation of eCommerce and Client Relations learning and employee engagement initiatives. Role and ResponsibilitiesFunctional Responsibility
  • Assist with developing and delivering creative internal client communications including training and engagement event invitations and announcements, updated learning content and collateral, evolving best practices of existing policies and procedures, and more based on the direction and instruction of team leader.
  • Aid in all aspects of preparation, set-up, and execution of teamwide events of varying scale and scope.
  • Reinforce public speaking skills with opportunities to design and co-facilitate training presentations.
  • Assist with reporting needs including event attendance, employee feedback collection and analysis, and year-to-date quantitative progress updates on annual strategy execution.
  • Execute essential administrative duties including internal platform calendar maintenance and researching placing food, beverage, and supply orders for both specialized events and ongoing team moments.
  • Partner with the team to deliver training and teambuilding schedule proposals to maximize team attendance, while maintaining appropriate coverage for incoming client communications.
  • Liaise and collaborate with a wide range of departments within the global and local Herms network.
  • Perform regular internal quality assurance checks and competitive analysis with other luxury contact centers to identify training opportunities and share feedback with Senior Manager and Specialist.
  • Partner to construct quizzes following training moments to reinforce knowledge and ensure retention of information.

  • Previous retail, customer service, hospitality, or training experience helpful
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
  • Comfortable working independently and as an active team- player
  • Self-starter, with a solution-oriented mindset and high level of attention to detail
  • Willing to take on new opportunities and challenges with positivity, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills
