POSITION SUMMARYAre you a marketing data specialist with an interest in the technical ins and outs of how it all works? The Marketing Technology team at Herschend is seeking a passionate and technical team member to join us in our mission of Creating Memories Worth Repeating® at theme parks and attractions across the United States. As an eCommerce Specialist on the Marketing Technology team, your main responsibility will be to configure and test products and promotions in our eCommerce website.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with the Admission Ticketing Administration team to input marketing content and product configuration in our eCommerce platforms.
  • Participate in after business hours product launches and configuration updates.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire marketing technology stack and report steps to reproduce to development team.
  • Assist the development team with eCommerce platform testing of enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Assist with cultivating training documentation related to eCommerce functionality
  • Facilitate content updates for properties that support both the website and mobile app (as applicable).
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • 4-year undergraduate college degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
  • Experience with administration and testing of marketing technology applications and solutions
  • Experience with and a general understanding of:
    • Software as a service
    • APIs (Postman environments and variables)
    • Azure DevOps for Project Management (or equivalent such as Jira, Confluence)
    • SDLC methodologies (ex: Agile, Scrum)
  • Experience successfully launching a marketing technology application or solution strongly preferred
  • Experience with responsive coding and optimization for both web and mobile devices, including robust understanding of HTML and CSS
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and responsibilities shift with the business needs
  • Knowledge of the eCommerce space including marketing strategies, usability best practices and industry trends strongly preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to work during non-business hours or holidays/weekends when applicable
