Location: all cities,NM, USA
Plexos Group, LLC is hiring Economic Recovery Specialists to support grant writing and disaster recovery support to governmental agencies and local associations with areas impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires. This position is grant-funded and will last for a duration of one year from the data of hire with the possibility of extension pending available funding.
Responsibilities:
· Work independently and as part of a team to support disaster recovery program delivery.
· Schedule technical assistance appointments.
· Provide standard case management functions for government agencies and local associations, including the development of disaster recovery plans, supporting applications to state and federal programs funding streams.
· Provide grant implementation and administration guidance and technical assistance to awardees.
· Take referrals, make cold calls, and attend outreach events.
· Track support progress.
· Provide grant implementation and administration guidance and technical assistance to entities awarded grants.
· Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Teams, SharePoint, and Disaster Case Management program software
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid New Mexico driver license
· Able to pass a federal background check
· Familiarity with Southern New Mexico's cultural values and history is required
· Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Masters degree in Business Administration
· Experience working with small businesses and/or knowledge of challenges small businesses face
· Experience writing grants
