Job Summary: Eastern Wholesale Fence is a multi-brand / multi-channel fence manufacturing business with a long and successful history in wholesale manufacturing. Staying true to core values of integrity and respect, we have demonstrated our ability to successfully originate, negotiate, execute, and build strong B2B relationships with our customers and vendors by partnership in the fencing industry. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. This is an onsite position that will be required to report to either, Medford (Suffolk County), NY or Fort Mill, SC. Our ideal EDI Coordinator/Specialist has a demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals, strong communication skills, organizational skills, follow through, and initiative. They will be relied upon to build and grow productive relationships internally, externally, and cross functionally to achieve goals in the most efficient manner. Requirements Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for compliance involving internal and external B2B and B2C applications, onboarding new partners, changing existing setups, patch installs, business process reviews, new platform integration with EDI, communications and successful processing of all transactions
  • Ensure compliance with support for business applications and departments related to EDI processing / interfaces
  • Manage multiple projects, EDI trading partner implementations and timelines
  • Conduct testing with trading partners and ensure sufficiency of integrations for new customers into EDI processes per implementation standards
  • Communicates with users and management on system and process capabilities system and program design of new applications or integration of EDI into existing applications
  • Execute corporate EDI strategy
  • Promote partnerships with all applicable business functions in the organization through EDI
  • Collaborate with trading partners/customers/ Vendors who wish to do business through EDI
  • Work with the internal team to design, implement and support EDI requirements
  • Experience with Lowes /Home Depot and other Customers/Vendors
  • EDI transmission verification and reconciliation and the ability to PROCESS EDI 850, 860, 856, 940, 945, 810, 832, 943, and 944 documents.
  • Troubleshoot systems and tracks and resolve EDI Issues through the maintenance of transactions and/or master data in Infor CSI ERP System and SPS Commerce
  • Monitor daily EDI operations and performance
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Understands and complies with X12 Standards
  • Continue to improve systems knowledge and competencies for yourself
  • Stay attuned to advancements within the industry, attending conferences as appropriate
  • Review and analyze processes and procedures to identify needs and provide recommendations with high emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and be celebrative in a team environment when sharing positive business results
  • Experience with large clients such as Home Depot, Lowes, as well as mid-tier, Manufacturing Companies/Vendors, and dropship B2C/retail marketplaces.
  • Communicate in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Promote associate recognition and inclusiveness
  • Have prior experience with AS2, FTP, SQL and Data Extraction.
  • 5+ years of related experience required (EDI experience in wholesale manufacturing, testing)
  • Candidate MUST be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Candidate must work well under pressure and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to set goals and develop realistic work plans and schedules to achieve.
  • Self-starter - proactive, able to work well independently work productively in a team environment.
