DescriptionOverview:In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) partnerships and transactions. Your expertise in EDI standards, data transfer processes, and trading partner relationships will make you an essential partner in ensuring smooth data exchanges with our clients and vendors.Responsibilities:
- Manage and Monitor EDI Transactions: Oversee daily EDI transactions (810, 150, 855 for customers; 850, 851, 856 for vendors) to ensure timely and accurate data exchanges.
- Customer and Vendor Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for EDI-related inquiries from customers and vendors, troubleshooting issues, providing support, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve any challenges.
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Assist in creating and managing data mappings, transformations, and integrations across systems to enable seamless data flow and compatibility.
- Drive EDI Integrations and Documentation: Lead and document the setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of EDI and trading partner integration projects. Create and manage internal and external EDI documentation to support clear communication and process consistency.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop QA testing suites and checklists for supporting new integration types and onboarding new customers and vendors, ensuring data accuracy and integration reliability.
- System and Integration Support: Provide expertise on EDI technology stack, supporting data transformations, integrations, and communication protocols across systems.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with business partners, internal stakeholders, and product development teams to ensure EDI solutions meet the needs of all parties, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with EDI transactions or data integrations.
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., 810, 150, 855 for customers; 850, 851, 856 for vendors)
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience interfacing directly with customers and vendors.
- Experience creating and managing EDI documentation and comfortable documenting processes for both internal and external audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ideally with exposure to the Sprint process.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Technology Skills:
- Experience with SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with Cleo Integration Studio or similar EDI integration platforms is a plus.
