We're looking to add to our team of experts, and can't wait to meet you! We are seeking an editor who loves all things social to join our agency. The primary role of the Editor is to review content from the manuscript stage through finished product, whether that's social, digital, or print. You will be proofreading, copy editing, and verifying claims while collaborating closely with copywriters, art directors, medical, strategy, client experience, and project managers to ensure editorial integrity of all assets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews content to ensure it complies with AMA or AP style, brand style guides, client preferences, FDA rules and regulations, grammar, spelling and consistency with other brand pieces
- Ensures that all assets meet the criteria for medical, legal, and regulatory submission if applicable
- Collaborates closely with colleagues across all brands
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in healthcare, consumer or social marketing, preferably at an advertising agency
- An eye for detail that can spot errors and inconsistencies in copy
- Proficiency in grammar and spelling rules, AMA and/or AP styles, FDA rules and regulations
- Comfortable using social platforms
- Natural curiosity
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently on several brands within a fast-paced environment while serving as a problem solver
