Job Description Summary:
The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs (ESIA) is one of the world's leading schools of international affairs. Located in the heart of Washington, DC, its mission is to educate the next generation of international leaders, conduct research that advances understanding of important global issues, and engage the policy community in the United States and around the world. Hosted by ESIA, The Washington Quarterly (TWQ) is a global security policy journal that provides diverse perspectives on strategic changes, trends, and relations around the world along with their public policy implications.TWQ is seeking an Editorial Associate to assist with the editing and publication process for the journal. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the main responsibilities include the following:
Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.This is a part-time, hybrid position with some days in-person and some days remote.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
