Location Description The Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility is 1,120,845 square feet and home to about 470 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits and 9Lives. This location has a cannery that produces wet dog food and there is also a Distribution Center on-site. Bloomsburg is home to Bloomsburg University, a municipal airport, a landmark Town Park with many acres of recreational activities, and has one of the largest and longest running fairs in the country. With so much to do and see, Bloomsburg is a great place to live, work and play! Responsibilities Track and maintain compliance training Build reporting in Workday for compliance/adherence Manage document control system for SOP's, Work Instructions, and OPL's Build training modules utilizing Articulate and Microsoft Powerpoint Maintain Learning Programs in SumTotal for all departments Maintain updates to Site Training Matrix Facilitate all Step-Up-Card revisions, getting approval from Operations, Reliability, and Equipment Owners. Coordinate training opportunities and materials to support operations Connect Equipment Experts, System Owners, and all Functional Leaders with the appropriate resource and training materials Work with Operations leads and managers to identify losses due to lack of training Review and file E&T paperwork and provide feedback to teams Own Training KE for Quality and Human Safety Coordinate new hire orientation and training schedules Training Grant Administration Flex work hours as needed to provide support on all shifts Support and model Continuous Improvement work system behaviors Model culture Strong relationship skills with all levels of the organization Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with limited supervision effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Facilitating meetings and presentation skills Demonstrate strong computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. Learn and understand site losses identified during the most recent Loss Analysis. Proficient in using Excel for data sorting and tracking Safety, GMP, Food Safety and Sanitation rules must be followed as required in the plant. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training: BA/BS Degree or Relevant Experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Climb ladders and bins Maneuver in tight spaces Move items of 55-80 lbs. in weight from one place to another Stack repetitiously 60 lbs. or less Able to differentiate between colors Able to work in extreme temperature conditions (very hot or very cold)
