Participate in the selection process of SSS participants by administering assessments, conducting intake interviews, reviewing student information and determining eligibility.2. Creates student success plans for each participant on assigned case load based on assessed needs.3. Responsible for meeting with each student on assigned case load at least once a month to monitor progress and to assess needs and interventions.4. Plans and conducts a minimum of three academic and study skills workshops per semester for SSS participants.5. Plans and conducts a minimum of two financial literacy workshop per semester6. Plans and conducts a minimum of one cultural events per semester.7. Provides academic scheduling support for each participant on his/her case load8. Collaborates with Financial Aid Office to ensure each student's financial needs are met.9. Updates and maintains community resource manual10. Partners with campus and community organizations and individuals to bring relevant workshops and services to SSS participants.11. Participates in regional and state TRIO/SSS conferences/meetings.12. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Master's degree required in education, special education, adult education, counselor education or related fieldBackground similar to students; experience with disadvantaged studentspreferred.
