DescriptionSpecializes in the implementation, administration, and modification of high impact tutoring services; organizes, develops, disseminates, and/or implements program framework; empowers stakeholders throughout the district to take a data-driven, whole child approach to education; develops and adapts tutoring initiatives using evidence-based practices; creates and delivers professional development to stakeholders on tutoring services; serves an essential role in the development and implementation of tutoring services that aligns with data reporting structure and requirements to measure program metrics; leads in the collection, analysis, and reporting of division-level data; serves as a resource to school-based administrators, teachers, staff, students, and families.QualificationsRequired
  • Master's degree.
  • Four (4) years of experience teaching in a related specialty, some of which may have been in a supervisory or administrative role.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to assignment.
  • Knowledge of FCPS curriculum, instructional goals, procedures, and practices in field of specialization.
  • Knowledge of growth and development and learning theory in specialty.
  • Knowledge of program evaluation, methodology, and statistical techniques.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, legislation, and policies.
  • Skill in assessment and evaluation of students with special needs.
  • Skill in teaching and providing professional development.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to provide a high level of instructional leadership for teachers, administrators and tutors.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to provide subject matter expert advice on complex issues to culturally diverse audiences.
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local policies and regulations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain successful collaborative working relationships throughout the Division and with outside agencies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
  • Experience with high impact tutoring programs.
