POSITION SUMMARY: The Education Support Personnel support the overall functioning of LASEC and its member districts through positive customer service, communication, collaboration, data management, and accuracy in the completion of reports. Key to the position is accuracy in entering and maintaining student data in multiple databases and maintaining confidential communication. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide Education Support Services for the LASEC Administrative Team in the utilization of electronic equipment and telecommunications.
- Proficient data entry and accuracy checks in electronic databases.
- Maintain efficient and well-organized electronic and paper data collection and filing systems, including confidential student and personal files, attendance data, and other mandated reports for local and state reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service related to all stakeholders of the LASEC.
- Exhibit a personality demonstrating enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with staff, administration, and the community.
- Continual growth through collaboration with fellow staff members and professional learning.
- Protect the confidentiality of records and information about students and staff.
- Assist the LASEC Administrative Team in the preparation of reports and documents by creating graphics and displays, using word processing and data management, creating an attractive presentation, copying, collating, and distributing the final product.
- Assist with special projects as needed and other responsibilities as assigned.

- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Office and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, laminating, computers)
SKILLS REQUIRED: There is a potential need to be able to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. - The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate noise level. However, on occasion, the noise level can be loud for a brief period of time.
- Work is conducted indoors. This work is normally conducted at the LASEC office or partner school district.
