*Summary:*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *EEG Technician* to join our healthcare team during the night shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM). In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine electroencephalograms (EEGs) on patients across a wide age range, from neonates to geriatrics, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Your expertise will be essential in measuring and applying electrodes, conducting descriptive analyses of EEG waveforms, and preparing data for physician review.*Qualifications:** Registered EEG Technician* Minimum of one year of EEG experience* BLS/CPR certification* Advanced skills in computer usage, communication, and critical thinking* Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance*Job Duties:** Perform routine EEGs following established ASET guidelines for patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, in both outpatient and inpatient settings.* Enter raw data and prepare it for physician review.* Measure and apply electrodes for adult and pediatric patients.* Conduct descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns observed.* Engage in appropriate patient and family interactions.* Edit 24-hour EEG data as necessary.* Maintain EEG equipment, stock acquisition stations, report malfunctions, and keep an accurate equipment logbook.* Adhere to existing hospital and departmental policies and procedures.#N&L123Job Type: ContractPay: $2,200.00 - $2,600.00 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Referral program* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Night shift* Weekends as neededExperience:* EEG: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* REEGT (Required)Ability to Commute:* Syracuse, NY 13210 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Syracuse, NY 13210: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
