Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 EG Floor Attendant to join our team located at the Lakecrest Hotel and Casino.Summary:Responsibilities:* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Handles routine customer complaints and incidents, exhibiting the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel* Cleans assigned area- Cleans and sweeps floors- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms- May empty ash trays- Disposes of trash- May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks- Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas* Answers basic customer questions concerning gaming machines based on basic understanding of payout and machine operations* Coordinates with management, supervisors, and security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat or damaged gaming equipment and to report floor irregularities to a member of management* Identifies top prize transactions processes and completes paperwork promptly, with a high level of accuracy and service to the guest* Performs all other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and managementSkills:Essential:* Count lrg amts of cash by hand / with cash counting machines* 10-key adding machineExperience:Essential:* No prior experience required.Education:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass gaming background check* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* Bright and Flashing lights* Fast-paced* May work in loud or noisy areas* Noisy* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Pass pre-employment drug test* Hand-eye coord, reach and grasp* Manual dexterity* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Sitting up to 25% of shift* Walking up to 100% of shift* May work day shift* May work evening shift* May work holidays* May work night shift* May work rotating shifts* May work weekend shift
