Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a EHS and Sustainability IT Product Owner. The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. What you'll do:Job Summary The EHS and Sustainability IT Product Owner will manage the product / program roadmap, release schedule, and lifecycle of all Environmental, Social & Governance and Eaton Business Systems related technology and integrations. This role will also incorporate the following:Defines epics to meet customer and business needsManages & prioritizes the team's backlogManages individuals and their development on larger product teamsManages funding and portfolio of work (enhancements vs. health for example) for the product areaFirst point of contact for the product areaManage partnership with suppliers including (contracts, billing, roadmap, and support escalations)Job Responsibilities:Design and communicate product vision, roadmap, and epics to meet customer/ business needsCommunicate goals for product increments and releases and define goals for team sprintsSupport decomposition of epics into features and decompose features into user storiesOwn the team backlog and manages & prioritizes user stories and technical enablersSupport estimation of epics, features, technical enablers, and user storiesSupport issue resolution on a product and solution levelManage with Tech Lead, Solution Architect, and Release Train Engineer to determine sequencing of user stories and technical enablersCollaborate with Manage Tech Lead, Solution Architect, and Release Train Engineer to determine sequencing of user stories and technical enablersManages and allocates product funding across lifecycle activitiesResponsible for product, data, policy, cybersecurity and usage governanceFunctional expert in areas related to the productUnderstands commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicableHelps define operational processes alongside scrum master and technical leadWorks with user experience and engineering leads to define and prioritize work, aligning to experience directionEvangelist for product throughout the enterprise and ensures proper usageMust ensure ongoing support, maintenance, uptime, performance, availability in collaboration with either support or technical leadFor relevant product teams, manages individuals on the team and guides/coaches career developmentWorks closely with business stakeholders, understands their priorities, defines business outcomes and KPIs for the product in collaboration with key stakeholdersQualifications:Basic Qualifications: •Bachelors' degree from an accredited institution. •10+ years of experience with EHS projects. •Previous experience with software deployments.•No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member. candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.Preferred Qualifications:•Understanding of EHS and Sustainability processes including CSRD, EU Taxonomy and future Sustainability compliance requirements. •Previous role as a Product Owner or a role with incorporating Product Owner responsibilities with strong business process mapping / process improvement capabilities. •AI / advanced technology solutions / ML, RPA, etc.•Customer & stakeholder engagement and communications skills.•Roadmap creation and product vision articulation.•Deep understanding of customer/ business needs.•Understanding of lean agile principles and practices.•Data orientation / ability to use data to make decisions.•Experience with how to maintain and improve data quality.•Excellent written and oral communication skills: communication, customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with senior management, divisions. operations and technical personnel.•Ability to coordinate/delivery work with cross-functional and global teams.•Strong presentation skills to present findings, data summaries and recommendations during project review meetings.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
