Position Summary: The EHS/ISO Coordinator is responsible for the safety/environmental functions for the home building facility. The EHS/ISO coordinator will implement and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations while coordinating required training for environmental and ISO programs.
Duties / Responsibilities:
* Treat injuries as needed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Maintain safety records and safety documentation.
* Train all New Hires and all employees on safety procedures and regulations
* Investigate accidents and incidents.
* Monitor personnel and workspace.
* Conduct and perform Job Hazard Analysis
* Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Local regulations.
* Perform required weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual safety audits.
* Address all safety concerns.
* Assist with internal site audits.
* Work with the team to develop safety procedures.
* Conduct thorough investigations using the required corrective action form and root cause analysis.
* Schedule and participate with the EHS Manager in conducting safety audits.
* In addition to safety responsibilities also train all employees in various safety topics to include but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Forklift Training, PPE, Safety Polices, Safety SOP's, etc.
* Ensure regulatory compliance of all local, state, and federal laws and submit required data to third party for processing of regulatory reports.
* In conjunction with the EHS Manager, lead the cultural change.
* Will be responsible for all safety and injury care for Finish Plant located at Clayton Richfield.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent, 2-year degree in environmental or safety field is a plus.
* Self-motivated, analytical thinking
* Strong organization skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations is a plus.
* Good people / communication skills and the ability to follow-up and hold others accountable.
Physical Demands:
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally use ladders / steps to enter and exit homes.
* Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
* Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
* Works in an environment that includes exposure to extreme temperatures.
* Work primarily involves sitting / standing, may involve a moderate amount of bending / stretching.
