Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
Location: Morristown, Tennessee
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the management team to define EHS goals and objectives.Train employees in health and safety policies and maintain compliance.Conduct inspections and identify hazards and EHS violations.Provide solutions and strategies for manufacturing hygiene, health, and safety hazards.Implement new health and safety protocols and measures to ensure compliance with regulations.Monitor operational processes and employee activities.Create assessment documentation, incident and accident reports, and health and safety manuals.Prepare and submit health and safety compliance documents to the relevant organizations.Stay updated on the latest EHS trends, policies, regulations, and best practices.Attend safety committee meetings.Travel between Chicago and Morristown locations on a continuous basis (30-40%).Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS role.OSHA or EHS certification preferred.Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.Excellent communication and training skills.Ability to identify and mitigate hazards effectively.Proficient in generating reports and documentation.Team player, aligned with the success of the company goals.Comfortable with frequent travel between Chicago and Morristown locations.Benefit offerings include PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401K plan.
