- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of manufacturing processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent reocurrence
- Provide training to employees on EHS policies, safety protocols, and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization
- Monitor and manage hazardous waste disposal processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Prepare and maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to promote a culture of safety
- Experience with risk assessment, hazard identification, and implementing safety programs
