The Ultra Site Services function is responsible for building, site, and facilities maintenance, and may also include security services. Ultra is building a second shift to continue to meet the demands of our global customers, join us as we continue to grow to keep the world safe!Production Hours are Monday to Thursday 5pm to 3:30am.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Duties Responsible:
  • Facilitate and conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and appropriate corrective actions
  • Respond to day-to-day EHS complaints and issues
  • Enter incident data into the EHS database
  • Participate on the Ergonomics Team and provide assessments and recommendations
  • Participate on the Work Restrictions Team
  • Conduct annual Chemical Inventory
  • Manage and maintain the hazardous waste storage and disposal and recycling processes
  • Assist with Job Hazard Assessments
  • Update the EHS bulletin boards
  • Manage the SDS web database
  • Work with the training coordinator and develop and conduct required EH&S training and orientations
  • Facilitate the Safety Committee meetings
  • Assist in the preparation for EHS Audits
  • Conduct Contractor EHS Orientations
  • Maintain contractor oversight during extended projects
  • Facilitate annual review of EHS policies
  • Other tasks as determined by the EHS Manager

Required Skills and Abilities:

The ideal candidate must possess the following

  • AS or BS Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
  • Knowledge and experience of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, guidelines, and compliance
  • 3+ years of experience implementing EHS standards, training, and legal compliance
  • 3+ years of experience managing hazardous waste storage and shipping processes for a small quantity generator site (SQG)
  • 3+ years of experience performing ergonomic evaluations
  • Maintain a current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective in influencing change across functional and demographic boundaries
  • Experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 and 14001 standards
  • Experience calibrating O2 and gas measurement instruments
