Job Description:
Description: Provides Environmental Heath and Safety (EHS) support to the team, Operations and Pharmaceutical Services Group (PSG). Functions:
  • Provides EHS support to the department as well as Processing, PSG.
    • Accident, Incident , Near Misses and unsafe conditions investigations.
    • Actively participate in agencies, clients and corporate audits and audit readiness.
  • Provides Safety and Environmental Support.
    • Manages hazardous / non-hazardous waste management program.
    • Manages raw and potable water systems ensuring compliance.
    • Prepare, monitor, and track the environmental permits, regulatory reports tracking and regulatory inspections and audit responses.
  • Provides Safety Support
    • Conducts equipment, facility, product reviews.
    • Coordinates pre-start health and safety review completion.
    • Develops safety programs such as lock out and machine guarding .
  • Develops and Implements EHS Programs
    • Safety examples: Industrial Hygiene programs, PPE, LOTO, Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety, Risk Assessments, Emergency Response Respiratory Protection, noise and Air Sampling.
    • Environmental programs such as: air, water and waste.
  • Develops audit protocols, audit programs, procedures, and practices for the EHS Programs.
  • Develops audit protocols, audit programs, procedures, and practices for the EHS Programs.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering , Environment, Safety, Health, Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors and 3 years experience or advanced degree and 1 years experience Knowledge in EHS regulations.
  • Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene training/ experience/academical background Experience in medical, chemical, electrical, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environment.
Skills:
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Previous experience conducting presentations / training.
  • High integrity for dealing with confidential information.
  • Demonstrated professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Proficiency with the English Language.
