Are you an EHS professional who loves being a technical resource for all things environmental, health, and safety across an organization? If so, Charter Manufacturing is looking for you! Come join us in this newly created role and help us develop and support high functioning EHS management and data systems, and best in class programs, audits, and learning management systems.

This role will be based out of our corporate office in Mequon, WI and offers a flexible hybrid work schedule. Periodic travel (up to 25%) will also be necessary to support initiatives at our manufacturing facilities in WI, IL, and OH.

What you'll do:

• Develop and manage centralized compliance programs and audit process.

• Support the EHS Learning Management & database.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the ETQ EHS management system.

• Analyze data/create dashboards as it relates to EH&S to identify trends and work to prevent incidents.

• Mentor team members, develop team's skills, and provide leadership within the team.

What you'll need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Sciences/Management, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related degree.

• Four plus years' experience in related field/industry.

• Two plus years' demonstrated leadership skills in leading cross functional teams or resources with or without direct authority.

• Experience in EHS Data management and dashboard development.

• Experience in EHS risk scoring and prioritization

• Experience in EHS Learning Management Systems and development.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and audit written programs

• Demonstrated ability to develop EHS training materials

• Familiarity with governmental regulations on a practical basis in safety and/or environmental.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks while being detail oriented.

• Demonstrated ability in influencing others without direct authority

Other things we'd prefer to see:

• Experience in Workday systems

• Familiarity with Workers Compensation claims process and management.

• Experience interacting with local, state, and national regulatory agencies.

• Experience working with ISO-14000 environmental programs.
